Cambridge-based developer Wrenbridge Land has acquired a site for speculative shed scheme in the Belvedere Industrial Area in Kent.Plans for the 2.15-acre site, at the junction of Bronze Age Way and Picardy Manor Way, are for a £7.2m 45,000 sq ft warehouse with yard and car park. The project was funded by a £200m Palmer Capital Development fund. The acquisition follows Wrenbridge’s purchase of the four-acre Graviton Park site in November 2014, where work on a 100,000 sq ft, three-unit industrial scheme started last month.Jeff Wilson, director of Wrenbridge, said: “We know the location well, having acquired four acres [Graviton Park] in November 2014 where we are on site speculatively building more than 100,000 sq ft in three units. We have seen strong occupier demand for the scheme, which completes in June 2016.”Wrenbridge was advised by Glenny and CBRE.
