Wrenbridge Land are holding their 14th World Cup for the property industry next Thursday at Linton college Sports Club. Over 20 teams have already signed up for this year’s challenge which managed to raise over £5,000 last year. The tournament is a day filled with 10 minute 5-a-side matches to establish which is the ultimate team in the property industry.
So far this year, Wrenbridge have raised an impressive £4,400 with only £600 to go until they reach their target of £5,000. Their chosen charity this year is Send a Cow; an organisation which helps African families to grow their own food, confidence and aspirations, and has done since 1988.They source and deliver local livestock for communities, and then, through training in farming, and tackling social issues such as gender inequality, they enable them to acquire both the hope and the skills to reach their goals.
