We are delighted to announce the shortlisting’s of 6 awards across the Palmer Capital network at this years Property Week and RICS awards.  We said it had been a busy year, and this just goes to prove it!

Finalists for the Deal of the Year category at both the Property Week awards and the RICS awards, are Cubex Land with the sale of the Aurora office building in Bristol for £62.13m. Aurora is a BREEAM Outstanding development, which was committed to be speculatively built with funding through Palmer Capital Development Fund IV, a programmatic venture managed exclusively on behalf of clients of CBRE Global Investment Partners (‘CBRE GIP’), in June 2016, shortly after the Brexit vote. It was funded with financial skill and expertise and sold in September 2018, delivering a 2.3x EqM geared, after achieving 85% pre-letting during construction.Aurora Internals Reception

Perfectly blended in to the wider mixed-use Finzels Reach scheme, Aurora was a best in class development, and a key business generator, which revived both investor and community confidence back in to the local area. Joint developers Manse Opus have also been shortlisted for the Deal of the Year category for their pre-let to Meggitt at their site Prospero Ansty. In Spring 2018, Manse Opus in their joint venture with Rolls-Royce secured planning consent for a 490,000 sq ft new headquarters building for Meggitt PLC, which is the first pre-let on the 2.3 million sq ft advanced manufacturing, research and office development site. The deal will be one of the UK’s largest industrial lettings for many years, and is confirmation of the manufacturing industry’s strength at a time of great political uncertainty.

Wrenbridge Land have been listed as finalists for not one, but two awardsProperty Company of the Year and Developer of the Year. Wrenbridge is a privately owned property company with a wealth of experience and a passion for the property industry. Their ethos of never letting people down, working hard and having fun has served them well over the last quarter of a century, and only one person has left the company in the past 10 years. Their joint venture partners include Buccleuch, Grosvenor, Legal and General, M&G and Palmer Capital, all of whom they have a strong and successful relationship with. 2018 has been their most successful Wrenbridgeyear to date which has tied in with their 25th anniversary which they celebrated with a dinner for their nearest and dearest at Clare College, Cambridge.
