A new 17,500 sq ft Sainsbury’s store is opening its doors to the public on Wednesday 4th December. The opening of the store has been long awaited by local residents, who will no longer need to spend time travelling further afield for their food shopping. This store is one of only three Sainsbury’s to open this year. It will include an Argos, an in-store bakery and 96 car parking spaces. The store has created 90 new jobs in the community. Angle Property acquired the 3.7 acre freehold site located on the northern edge of Olney in North Buckinghamshire in July 2017 and this Sainsbury’s store comprises 50% of the site.
Tony Williamson, Managing Director at Angle Property said ”We are delighted to have worked with Sainsbury’s to deliver this new store which is a ground breaking format for Sainsbury’s. The store looks fantastic and has been very well received by local residents – it will be a real asset to the town and surrounding villages.
