Bristol developer Cubex and its long term funding partner Palmer Capital are pleased to announce planning consent has been secured for 194 one and two bedroom apartments at Finzels Reach.

The apartments are arranged across two strikingly designed buildings; Hawkins Lane – a commanding 11-storey apartment tower of contemporary design sitting at the heart of the Finzels Reach development and George’s Wharf – one of the last two remaining waterside plots in central Bristol.

Building upon the previous success of the Malt House, Castle Wharf and Cask Store apartment buildings, this final phase of residential development will take the number of apartments at Finzels Reach to over 440.

Designed by a Bristol-based team led by architectural practice, The Bush Consultancy, the apartments have been designed to appeal to the private rental and corporate let occupier market.

Gavin Bridge of Cubex said: “I’m delighted to say that we worked closely with Bristol City Council in the design of this final residential phase.  These two particular buildings have been designed with care and consideration to make the most of their setting and commanding location.  We are sure that the central waterside location approximately equidistant between Cabot Circus and Temple Meads will appeal.

Cubex are looking to start the build of George’s Wharf and Hawkins Lane in Q4 this year when Finzels Reach bridge, linking the development to Castle Park and Cabot Circus will be complete.
