Palmer Capital have now been supporting LandAid in their mission to help end youth homelessness throughout the UK for over four years. LandAid have many initiatives running, and hold various events over the course of the year to help raise as much money for the cause.

Throughout 2018, Palmer Capital helped to raise an amazing £30,550.96 for LandAid through our different events. The Palmer Capital LandAid Money Maker Challenge 2018 alone raised £24,795.93, which saw seven teams coming together to compete in a race to raise the most money.

Palmer Capital also had seven runners taking part in the annual LandAid 10k run in London, and eight participants who took part in the first ever Steptober event which was a huge success. Our two teams managed to walk a combined 3,157,000 steps throughout the month of October, which contributed towards our final money raising figure.

Not only does Palmer Capital enjoy fundraising for LandAid, we also gained another LandAid Ambassador following Sarah-Jane Webb, Marketing Executive, being appointed in November. Sarah-Jane joins Lead Ambassador, Emma Murray, and the many other LandAid Ambassadors helping to continue the fantastic fundraising achieved every year. This, combined with our status of LandAid Foundation Partner, enables us to help LandAid’s cause as much as possible.

LandAid have announced that the 2017/18 year, this was their biggest year of fundraising to date, with LandAid having been awarded £1.8m in grants, which helped them to support over 7,500 young people. This is an amazing achievement for LandAid and the young people they help.

We very much look forward to working with LandAid again for 2019 and hope to once again assist in making a huge difference to many people in need.
