Bristol-based pizza pop-up Mission Pizza will be partnering with Left Handed Giant to provide the food offering in their upcoming brewpub in the new Finzels Reach quarter. The vegetarian wood-fired pizza offering will be Mission’s first permanent site, having spent the last two and a half years serving pizzas from their 1950’s style teardrop caravan at events around the southwest.

“We’re hugely excited to be partnering with Mission Pizza at our new Finzels Reach Brewpub. We fell in love with their pizzas at their first ever event, which was held at our taproom in St Philips, and have invited them back to the taproom whenever they could fit us in to their busy events schedule! Their piz-zas are genuinely amongst the best I have ever tasted and what goes better than pizza and beer?”

Bruce Gray, Managing Director, LHG

Mission pizza will serve customers throughout the building from a purpose-built kitchen on the ground floor, offering an extended menu from previously offered at pop-ups and events.

“Serving food all day, seven days a week, including takeaway, we want to build a kitchen that helps us stay close to our street food roots, whilst also introducing a range of sides, desserts and other exciting food options. We are vegetarian and vegan pizza-specialists and our full menu will continue to be 100% veggie with vegan alternatives available for 99% of our menu. Bristol is, after all, the official vegan cap-ital of the world!”

Jim Bishop, Co-Founder, Mission Pizza.

Gavin Bridge, executive director at Cubex, the developer behind Finzels Reach, said:

“It’s great to have Mission Pizza on board at Finzels Reach, a neighbourhood that’s poised to become a new hotspot for Bristol’s social scene. With a popular weekly street market, lively street scene and nearly 2,500 people soon to be living and working in the area, it’s fantastic to see this new part of Bristol already emerging as a new destination for the city.”
