We are delighted that Rob Bould of Rob Bould Consulting and former CEO of GVA has been elected as the new Chair of Trustees at LandAid. He has replaced Liz Peace CBE who has stepped down after three years as head of the charity.
Rob has been a member of the LandAid Board of Trustees for over nine years and will be stepping up to the new role from his current position as Vice Chair. He has however been a supporter of LandAid since its conception in 1986. His tenure as Chair formally begins on the 1 April and he will be welcomed to the position with a ‘meet the Chair’ event which is being held at CoStar’s offices in the Shard on the 2 April.
The news coincides with the third year of the LandAid strategic plan to help end youth homelessness. In its first two years, the strategy has already helped deliver well over 400 of the 450 bed-space target which was set in 2017.
Palmer Capital has been involved with LandAid for a number of years now, both as a foundation partner and via its staff – the firm now has two Ambassadors at the Palmer Capital HQ, Emma Murray who is one of LandAid’s lead London Ambassadors and Sarah-Jane Webb, and our CEO Alex Price sits on the Fundraising Committee. In addition, Gavin Bridge of Cubex Land is Chair of the South West LandAid Board and Victoria Turnbull of Opus Land, was Chair of the Midlands LandAid Board. Palmer Capital would like to wish Rob Bould their best wishes for his new role at LandAid, and look forward to continuing to work with both him and the charity in the future.
