Manse Opus a joint venture between Manse LLP and Opus Land based in the West Midlands marked the start of their 200 acre industrial development on the aptly named Prospero site adjacent to the now completed Ansty Business Park by announcing the start on site of their first deal to Meggitt PLC.

Their new manufacturing facility, thought to be the largest new manufacturing facility to be built in the UK for many years, will comprise some 490,000 sq. ft. on 25 acres to be delivered for occupation by late 2019.

They will join existing occupiers on Ansty Business Park , which sits at the junction of the M6, M69 and A46 junction within 3 miles of the centre of Coventry, including Fanuc AVL Electronics and the world renowned Manufacturing Technology Centre, who have provided much of the catalyst for its success.

Meggit Launch
Prospero already contains a 250,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility occupied by Rolls-Royce, who originally owned and occupied much of the site and will on completion of the new infrastructure currently being completed onsite, provide sites capable of delivering manufacturing buildings from 50,000 sq. ft. up to 1,000,000 sq. ft.

Richard Smith a director of Manse Opus, who together with David Mitchell also a director, have brought forward the development said:

“ We are delighted of our early success which will shortly be followed, I am sure by many further such facilities on this site evidencing the resurgence of world  class manufacturing in the UK particularly in the aeronautical and automotive sector that is so prevalent in the West Midland region.”
