Last night, industry heavyweights joined together to play their hand and raise money for LandAid at the 2018 Palmer Capital Charity Poker Tournament sponsored by Forsters.
The event was held at the famous Haymarket Hotel, on the corner of Haymarket and Suffolk Place and in the heart of the theatre district, and was the perfect location for the poker tournament, with grand but intimate spaces and quirky interior design.
On arrival guests were treated to champagne and canapés before listening to an address from Emma Murray, Business Development Manager at Palmer Capital, and Tom Ah-Thew at LandAid. Players and spectators then took their seats for play to commence. Over 70 property professionals joined forces for an evening of fierce competition and poker faces, all in aid of LandAid.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the evening and helped raise money for such a great cause. Winners were Henry Taylor from Real Rec coming 1st, Tom Thorpe from Stepstone Global came second and Darren Best from Savoy Stewart came third.We raised a total of c.£7,200.
