Property firm Opus North has announced a deal to let space at its Green Oaks Shopping Centre in Widnes to international jewellery firm Pandora and Rotherham-headquartered Crawshaw Butchers.
Pandora has signed a 10-year lease on a 1,850 sq ft unit inside the shopping and leisure complex, while Crawshaw Butchers is set to open a 1,019 sq ft store, also on a 10-year lease, fronting onto Albert Road.
The news follows a surge of activity at Green Oaks, with brands such as Keep Time Watch, Roman Originals, Carphone Warehouse, Halifax and Rymans all confirming their commitment to Widnes with new leases.
Opus North was advised on the deals with Pandora and Crawshaw by estate and letting agent Savills.
David Charlton, an associate working in Savills’ Manchester-based retail team, said: “Situated in a prime location in the centre of Widnes, Greek Oaks Shopping Centre benefits from significant footfall generated by the quality retail offer, links to the high street and a significant parking provision.
“These latest deals, both to new occupiers and those already present at the shopping centre, are a testament to the strength of the scheme and town and we are very pleased to have secured these lettings on behalf of our client.”
Savills is a joint agent on the Green Oaks site alongside Rawstron Johnson.
