Completion is rapidly approaching at the Wrenbridge industrial/warehouse scheme Boxset in Basildon and on target to be available from Q4 2019.
The scheme, which is funded by Palmer Capital, comprises a new 10 acre development site which is located to the north east of Basildon town centre, in a prominent position with direct access to the A127. Basildon is approximately 34 milesfrom central London and is the second largest economy in the Thames Gateway outside Canary Wharf. The exciting scheme will include three units which are to be speculatively built, of 92,626 sq ft, 62,411 sq ft and 74,165 sq ft. The units will have up to date, modern amenities including car charging points and are targeting an EPC ‘A’ rating.
Wrenbridge recently launched the scheme with an event in Covent Garden, London. Playing on the theme of ‘Boxset’, the event was held at the London Film Museum. Attendees heard Jeff Wilson, of Wrenbridge speak about the new scheme, before drinks and canapés, followed by exclusive access to the James Bond exhibition.
Just last week, the scheme was also nominated at the Property Marketing Awards for ‘Best Marketing Campaign’. With the support of Tassell Design, the scheme has been cleverly pitched as a ‘Boxset’ of three ‘epidodes’ – Boxset 92 (c. 92.000 sq ft), Boxset 62 (62.000 sq ft) and Boxset 74 (74,000 sq ft). The winner of the category will be announced at the awards ceremony on the Thursday 27th June 2019.
