CBRE have launched a campaign for TechCBRE to explore the challenges and opportunities of the evolving world of PropTech. The campaign includes a series of videos, which look at the five key challenges with regards to tech and the property industry which include efficiency, visibility, experience, flexibility and productivity, to which our Chief Operating Officer, Emma Cullen, and Director of Innovation, Darryll Colthrust have contributed.

Emma and Darryll have joined other industry heavyweights for the series including Amanda Clack, Head of Strategic Advisory at CBRE, and James Pellatt, Director of Workplace and Innovation at Great Portland Estates, to discuss their thoughts and ideas on how tech can be both a help and a possible hindrance to the property sector.

The campaign is reflective of the large scale technological changes that the property industry is seeing, and comes shortly after the publication of the BPF report, to which Darryll contributed, which is a report on the state of the Real Estate digital transformation journey in the UK and how we compare globally.

Together, Emma and Darryll have been driving technological change at Palmer Capital and are aiming to standardise, automate, digitise and put data at the companies heart to enable it to drive and promote agile decision making in a changing world.

Emma Cullen, COO at Palmer Capital commented that,

Data is key; it sits at the heart of everything we do. That data needs to be true because it’s your golden source.
