A successful evening was had on Thursday 9th November at the beautiful Haymarket Hotel in Suffolk Place. Palmer Capital’s third annual poker tournament kindly sponsored by Forsters was the best ever yet, seeing 60 property professionals take to the tables sporting their very best poker faces. Professionals from Savills, SEGRO, Knight Frank and CBRE were in attendance.
The event was held at a former shooting gallery, which historically was used for shooting practice in the 1800’s by country men visiting town. This vast room is 60 feet long with 18 foot high ceilings furnished with an eclectic collection of furniture including 70’s lucite tables and lamps and artwork by Oliver Messel.
A total prize pot of £1750 was up for grabs with a nail biting finish with Phillip Chadda of TC Developments claiming 1st place, Christoph Wagner at TH Real Estate in 2nd place and Antony Peck of Angle Property claiming 3rd place. All of the winners kindly donated all their winnings back to charity.
An evening of stiff competition and impressive poker faces was had for a very worthwhile cause.
A total of c. £10,000 was raised on the night for LandAid.
