Angle Property’s scheme at Kingsmead Business Park, Thame, is picking up the pace for Q3 2018. A consultation evening was held on 20th July 2018, with a lot of positive comments on the scheme, with many useful suggestions from local residents.
Angle Property are now updating their proposals for the site, having listened to the views of the locals, and will be submitting these in early September. Plans remain for a 68 bed carehome on 1.4 acres of land which will be built and operated by renowned care home developer Care UK. The plans for the remaining 9 acres are to create a mixed use residential led new-build housing development, and are being submitted in line with the views expressed from the consultation evening.
The site currently comprises 50,000 sq ft of vacant poor quality offices and 70,000 sqft of vacant industrial accommodation on 10.425 acres/4.219 Hectares and is surrounded by residential on three sides. The site is located directly west of Howland Road, towards the eastern edge of Thame town centre. The proposed scheme aims to redevelop an underutilised brownfield site in the market town of Thame which will help to alleviate some of the pressure on the housing requirement in South Oxfordshire District Council.
Angle Property currently have £200m available for immediate investment. See their requirements flyer here: https://bit.ly/2wkZK4Z
