Angle Property bought Hertfordshire House, formerly county council offices, from the Royal Bank of Scotland back in 2015; it’s currently being transformed into 26 one-bed apartments and penthouses, with commercial space at ground level. All of the homes include an open plan kitchen/dining/living area, and the two penthouses have private wrap around terraces.
Located within the city centre, it is within easy reach of everything the city has to offer – including shopping, food and culture, whilst still remaining within easy reach of the Capital and beyond.
Hertfordshire House is now well on the way to completion, with the first residents set to move in before Christmas 2019. It is the first phase of the Civic Centre Regeneration Project, which forms part of a major regeneration project taking part in St Albans City centre. The project, which is being led by St Albans City & District Council is due for completion in 2021/22. It is set to transform the area into a new destination in its own right.
Once complete, it is planned that this mixed-use scheme will deliver a host of new homes, in addition to restaurants, retail and office space, all set around an open pedestrianised public square and landscaped area.
