There are just two apartments left for sale at Cask Store, part of Finzels Reach, opposite Castle Park.

The properties have both been fitted out as show homes to enable people to get a feel for what life at Cask Store could be like.

Both the apartments look over the river and one also looks out on to the courtyard.

The historic brewery buildings at Finzels Reach provide a unique, characterful setting. The luxury apartments boast a concierge-type service from the on-site estate management team, generous living space, underfloor heating, walk-in wardrobes and allocated parking.

Finzels Reach is one of the largest mixed use developments in the South West and include 440 new apartments, office buildings, a Premier Inn which is due to open next month, plus a host of cafes, restaurants and a microbrewery.

The 4.7 acre site has a rich history. Once the heart of the medieval city, later it became a sugar refinery and more recently the site of the Courage Brewery until 1991.

Vicky Dudbridge, associate director at Savills, which is marketing Cask Store, said: “The rest of the apartments at Cask Store have already been bought, with the interest having come from people of all ages, from their 20s to their 80s – paving the way for the creation of a real community feel.”

Castle Bridge, which opened earlier this year, provides direct access to Bristol’s shopping quarter. A popular weekly street food market takes place Finzels Reach each Friday lunchtime and St Nicholas Market is just a few minutes’ walk away.

Temple Meads is about ten minutes away on foot.

The two remaining apartments are for sale at an asking price of £595,000. The show homes launch this weekend with a 50 per cent contribution on Stamp Duty until October 8.
